Paul's Birthday

Hola,

It has already been one month since Paul's birthday! As always I like to make this day very special for him to remind him how blessed I am for his life, for his presence in mine and how grateful I am to God for whom he is.

So I planned a very nice day for him with several celebrations....

I woke up early in the morning and prepared a nice breakfast with eggs, cereal, tea and Pandeyucas, which is a Colombian bread made of cassava starch and cheese. Paul loves them so I made them to surprise him!

Then I wrapped his present with newspaper in a box for shoes to make him think that I was giving him a pair of shoes!

Then he started to open the box and found first a card and many chocolates!

Here is the card. He couldn't wait until finishing his breakfast to open the present!

And finally...he found the present! A nice fountain pen!

For lunch I made Curry Shrimps with Empanadas (Colombian pastry stuffed with beef, onion and tomatoes) accompanied by a nice wine. For dessert I made Coconut cupcakes. Look at his happy face!

In the evening we went to Geneva for dinner and some drinks!

Here is Paul eating sushi!

When we came back home I had another surprise for Paul, a nice cake with candles! So with singing and eating cake we finished the day!

I will have to be more creative next year so I have to start thinking in advance in order to top this year's birthday celebration!

Hugs,

Malu

I'm sure he is very lucky to have you too. very few women are aware of their husbands importance to them and how well to treat them.
